Owen Paterson: ‘I cannot possibly ever get over this'

In June last year, Rose Paterson, the chairman of Aintree race course, home of the Grand National, and the wife of the former cabinet minister Owen Paterson took her own life. For him it came without warning and has left the family in 'anguish and misery'. Now ten months on, he has just launched the The Rose Paterson Trust, a charity dedicated to raising money for suicide prevention and suicide bereavement. He talked to Emma Barnett about how he thinks it’s important people talk about the issue more.
