Capturing the beauty of Africa
Africans often feel that their continent is misrepresented, with news coverage and other imagery focusing on cliches and negative or patronising representation. One person who is trying to rectify this is Ghanaian photographer Michael Aboya. Here he starts by depicting the photo of the violin player which won him the 2019 Agora Award for Best Picture of the Year.
