Cold water swimming to improve health and wellbeing
When you got up this morning did you think it'd be a great morning for a swim in the sea?
It seems there are more of us doing cold water swimming because of its multiple healing benefits, helping with things like asthma, bronchitis and arthritis as well as localised aches and pains.
Studies have also shown it can have positive effects on depression and anxiety and recent research suggests it may also protect the brain from degenerative diseases like dementia.
BBC Radio Solent's Dorset reporter Laurence Herdman has been to track down two cold water swimmers, Rosie Chandler and Lesley Boyle, on the Jurassic Coast.
