Mt Maunganui preview: can 'reset' England grind NZ down?

Jonathan Agnew and Steve Finn look ahead to England's tour of New Zealand

Jonathan Agnew is joined by Steve Finn at the Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui, the day before the first Test against New Zealand.

We hear from England captain Joe Root, on England's 'reset' approach to Test cricket, and new opener Dom Sibley says how he dreamed about playing for England after watching the first day of the 2005 Ashes Test as a 10 year old.

Plus Sam Curran, picked ahead of Chris Woakes, tells us his experiences of bowling with the Kookaburra ball, and we hear from Jos Buttler and Kane Williamson.

There will be a podcast at close of play every day during the Test series, with full commentary on 5 live Sports Extra and via the BBC Sport website and app.
