Dan Guthrie brings together a montage of digitally scanned Ankara fabrics printed in the patriotic colours of the UK, a found poem constructed from the Wikipedia page for the Union Jack, footage shot around the tourist hotspots of Margate Beach and central London and an ominously reworked version of Rule Britannia to create an audio-visual statement that questions whether traditional British iconography can be used to represent a modern multicultural nation that has been shaped and redefined by immigration.
