Cameroon’s lawyers on strike
Lawyers in Cameroon are on a five-day strike They say some of them have had to endure physical violence at the hands of authorities and have been consistently denied access to their clients.
Enow Benjamin Agbor, a member of the Cameroon Bar Council, says that “lawyers who insist on seeing
their clients sometimes end up in jail themselves.”
He spoke to BBC Newsday from the Anglophone town of Limbé.
