Coin could be one of Australia's oldest foreign artefacts

What is a medieval coin from Africa doing in northern Australia? That's the question being asked after the discovery of a 1000 year old coin which could rewrite the history of Australia. Scientists believe it to be a coin from Kilwa, more than 10,000km away in what is now known as Tanzania, dating from before the 15th century. We spoke to the historian Mike Owen and first to the archaeologist, Mike Hermes.
