How inhaling can help with problem solving
We all know that taking a deep breath can sometimes help a person feel less stressed, but could breathing in also help with problem solving? New research from the Weizmann Institute of Science in Israel has found that our breathing patterns can affect our cognition. Professor Noam Sobel tells Health Check presenter Claudia Hammond about their discovery, the results of which have just been published in the journal Nature.
