Fidel Castro's niece on why Cuba is ready for same-sex marriage
Cuba will vote in February on a new constitution which paves the way for same-sex marriage. The text will define marriage as a "union between two persons" rather than a man and a woman. Fidel Castro's niece and the daughter of Raoul Castro, Mariela Castro, is a strong supporter of gay rights in the country. She explains why she believes Cuba is ready to give equal rights to homosexual people after years of being marginalised under the Communist regime.
