The teen with autism who taught himself classical music and opera
Michael Fuller is 18, and a gifted pianist and singer. He also has autism. When he was 11, Michael discovered a phone app that inspired what would become a passion for classical music and a desire to sing opera. With his mum Nadine’s encouragement, he created his own unique language of sounds and Michael composed his first classical piece at just 12 years old, astounding his teachers in the process. Today his music keeps him calm, and he’s heading to university to do a music degree. His ambition is to one day play at the Royal Albert Hall.
