For years the Chilean national women's team couldn't afford to compete at major championships. They knew they had the potential to succeed but the funding just wasn't there. So what did they do?
Well, under the inspiring captaincy of Jeanette Garces, the players took matters into their own hands. Thanks to some innovative money-making schemes and a social media campaign, they made it to last week's South American Championships in Colombia, and finished runners up to Brazil!
