Training farmers in Kenya

Three quarters of the population in Kenya live in rural areas. Most of those who farm do so on small plots of land of one or two acres and they often lack the know-how and the money to improve their farming methods. The 'One Acre Fund' is a social enterprise which is trying to change that, by training farmers to increase crop yields and gain access to better seeds and fertiliser at low cost. Alan Kasujja went to one of their meetings in the county of Bungoma in western Kenya.
