Iceland's gender pay gap law
The resignation of the BBC's China editor from her post over transparency and gender pay equality has once again brought the issue into the headlines. Iceland recently became the first country in the world to make gender pay equality legal. The man who proposed the idea - the former minister for social affairs and equality, Thorstein Viglundsson - spoke to Newsday.
