World's oldest wine discovered in Sicily
Traces of wine dating back to more than 6000 years have been discovered in Italy. This is thought to be the most ancient evidence of wine, proving that it was in production during the Copper Age.
It was discovered during the search of a site in Sicily. The archaeologist who led the research, Davide Tanasi, explains the importance of the finding.
