Spider Stacy on new Pogues musical from ‘The Wire’ creator

David Simon, the creator and writer behind hit US crime drama The Wire has written a musical based around the work of The Pogues.

He’s been working on the new production with the band’s co-founder and singer Spider Stacy, who told 5 live’s Tony Livesey he’s “really excited” about the project.
