Why I run: Father and son open up on mental health
This week, 5 live launched "State of Mind" - a year of coverage and news stories, all about mental health.
With the build-up to the London Marathon 2017, we heard inspirational stories from father and son, Norman and Paul Scates, who are running in aid of the Heads Together campaign.
Paul, from Bournemouth, has experienced mental health issues, and says running "saved" his life. He added: "It has literally taken me off and out of my bed, getting me out into the fresh air, connecting with nature."
Details of organisations offering information and support with mental health are available at bbc.co.uk/actionline or you can call for free at any time to hear recorded information on 08000 839 839.
