Replicating the Red Baron's WW1 triplane

A German GP from Norfolk is hoping to make his maiden flight this summer in a replica of the Red Baron triplane.

The Fokker Dr.1 triplane was made famous by German fighter pilot Manfred von Richthofen, better known as the Red Baron.

Dr Peter Brueggemann has been building the plane for over eight years. He told John Humphrys about the replica and what he hopes to achieve.
