Could 'mapping' quinoa help feed the world's growing population?

Quinoa is that ultra-fashionable 'super-food' crop. Researchers now say they've successfully decoded its genome - with the result that new, cheap and productive varieties could be produced worldwide. Jeffrey Maughan is professor of molecular biology at Brigham Young University in Utah.
