Many students 'don't know' if the news is fake
A study by Stanford University researchers has found that young people find it hard to tell if online news is fake. Young people tend to be duped by sponsored content and don't always recognise the political bias of social messages, according to researchers. Devorah Heitner is the founder of Raising Digital Natives, which provides consulting services to schools in the US. She is not surprised by the findings.
