New ways to make humans "repulsive" to mosquitoes
If we can understand why mosquitoes like certain human smells and tastes, then we could create better repellents to stop them spreading malaria. Christopher Potter of Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in the US, is one of the scientists behind this new approach to alter the "flavor" of humans to mosquitoes.
