Colombia Awaits Historic Ceasefire

Colombia ceasefire; Turkish airstrikes; Aliko Dangote

A ceasefire comes into effect shortly between the Colombian government and the left-wing rebels known as FARC. For over 50 years, one of the world's longest running conflicts has killed an estimated 260,000 people and displaced millions.

Dozens of civilians have been killed by Turkish airstrikes on Kurdish-held areas in Syria. Turkey says they were terrorists from outlawed Kurdish militias.

Aliko Dangote, Africa's richest man, and Bono, one of the world's most famous rock stars, have been visiting camps where Nigerians have fled from the militant group Boko Haram.
