New way to be a leader? Just be nice
Five hundred years ago, Machiavelli wrote his influential philosophy on power 'The Prince', in which manipulation, intimidation and coercion are seen as the routes to achieving it.
In a new book 'Power of Paradox', Dachler Keltner, director of the Greater Good Science Center at the University of California, says he was wrong, and true power is about modesty and empathy.
As he explained to Mishal Hussain, due to the rise in female bosses, men have to become more collaborative and nicer to their colleagues, in order to obtain power.
