I left school at six, and now I’m studying for my PhD
Outlook Inspirations nominee Maung Nyeu grew up in the Chittagong Hill Tracts in Bangladesh. He left school at six after he was beaten for speaking his native tribal language. Despite this, he has gone on to become a PhD candidate at the prestigious Havard University in the US, and now he is helping children back in Bangladesh to learn in their mother tongue.
