Since its founding in 2011, the small, luxury watchmaker Shinola has grown into a leading US watch manufacturer with $100 million in annual sales. The Detroit-based company has been a bright spot for the beleaguered city, a story of resurrection and a return of new manufacturing. But can Shinola sell this Detroit comeback story overseas?
