The run-down neighbourhood in Istanbul standing against Erdogan’s bid for more power in Turkey.

Turkey goes to the polls on Sunday in a critical general election. Many of the voters opposed to the ruling party of President Erdogan are putting their hopes in the HDP, which has its roots in Kurdish nationalism.
