Nigel Farage: When things go wrong, I deal with them

“I have been utterly ruthless as UKIP leader with people who have stepped over the line,” the UKIP leader Nigel Farage told the BBC’s Andrew Marr.

“Controlling human nature is not the easiest things to do,” he added, “… but when things go wrong, I deal with them.”

Nigel Farage found himself fire-fighting embarrassing headlines yet again last week, about three more of his UKIP colleagues.

After the euphoria of the European elections, Tory defections and by-election triumphs, 2015 has not so far been a comfortable year for the party. But it still hopes to be a serious player at Westminster after the general election in May.
