Manchester City 3-2 Bayern Munich

Sergio Aguero scored a hat-trick as Manchester City beat Bayern Munich 3-2 in the Champions League to maintain their hopes of reaching the knock out stages.

City went in front as Aguero converted a penalty after being brought down by Mehdi Benatia, who was shown a red card for the challenge.

Bayern then hit back as a Xabi Alonso free kick and a goal from Robert Lewandowski gave them a 2-1 half time lead.

It was an advantage they held until five minutes from time, before Aguero struck twice late on, with his hat-trick goal coming in added time.
