How the source of cholera was discovered in Victorian times (drama)
Charles Dickens presents a topical chat show about cholera in Victorian times. We meet John Snow, a physician who was very interested in both anaesthesia and public health. John talks about his work tracing the cholera outbreak. He talks about how this dangerous disease spreads quickly and where it originates from, as well as giving details of the symptoms. The New Victorian sewers helped to reduce cholera by keeping sewage and drinking water separate.
