In this 1993 drama from BBC NI Learning, Brendan Gleeson plays the head of the Duncan family in Belfast who is confined to a wheelchair following a stroke. His wife can no longer return to work due to the almost constant care he requires and his daughter must decide whether to stay and help, or return to her studies. The drama was directed by Gerry Stembridge and written by the acclaimed Belfast dramatist Marie Jones.
