A battle is raging in the Iraqi city of Mosul, as Iraqi forces, backed by a US-led coalition, fight to re-take the city from so-called Islamic State. Eastern Mosul is now free from IS rule, but the West is not, and concern is rising about the large number of civilians killed in the fighting. BBC Journalist Basheer Al-Zaidi grew up in Mosul. He returns to the city to meet friends who have lived through IS rule, and hear their stories.
