In Part 1, the chart-topping band take us from their 80s successes, right through to the early 90s, as they talk candidly to Claudia about everything from break-ups and bagging a Bond song to banned videos and writing B-sides at breakneck speed.

Duran Duran was formed in Birmingham by keyboardist Nick Rhodes and bassist John Taylor in 1978. When the band emerged, they were considered part of the New Romantic Scene. The group have since sold more than 100 million records and have had 14 singles in the Top 10 of the UK Charts. The band have also won numerous awards including BRIT Awards, Grammy Awards, MTV Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
