Al Ryan presents six hours of jazz through the night, marking the opening of the London Jazz Festival. Including concert sets, interviews and masterclasses from some of the biggest names in jazz who have played the festival including saxophonist Sonny Rollins, Brazilian multi-instrumentalist Hermeto Pascoal and Herbie Hancock. Plus new sessions from BBC Radio 3 New Generation Jazz Artists Rob Luft and Misha Mullov- Abbado. The broadcast culminates with a special collaboration with Jazz FM.
