Rob Beckett hosts the quiz show where contestants must decide whether they can win the jackpot alone or need to headhunt other players to supplement their knowledge.
Hosted by Rob Beckett, Head Hunters is a quiz show that puts a price on knowledge. A talent pool of 20 quizzers compete to become Head Hunters. Can they see off the competition and win the rolling jackpot alone? Or will they need to recruit some help?
Today's first-time Head Hunters are creative writing student Michael, money blogger Jordon, and primary school teacher Steven. The Head Hunters face a category board with nine subject areas and must assess whether they need to build a team to plug the gaps in their knowledge. To win the jackpot in the final round, they must answer a question correctly from each of the nine categories in 90 seconds. So will they feel the need to build a team or are they confident they can go it alone in their quest to win the rolling jackpot, which starts today at £1000. If they want to get some extra help, they will have to tempt today's three qualifying candidates to join their teams by offering them a slice of the jackpot should they win the show.
Once they have formed their teams, the Head Hunters go head to head to try to knock out their opponents to make it to the final round and face the category board. Will they beat the board and pocket the cash? Or will they be defeated and return to the talent pool to try again tomorrow?
