Acid Jazz 30th Anniversary
Tonight we celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Acid Jazz records.
Craig takes this week’s party to the BBC Studios at Maida Vale to celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Acid Jazz records. With live music from The Brand New Heavies - who have returned to the label that released their first album in 1990 - and ‘The Fabric Four’, classic Acid Jazzers - Corduroy, plus ‘brand new’ music performed by Laville - the first new male solo artist the label has signed since Jamiroquai in 1991 - it’s going to be a show with its groove on. As well as this, there’s music from the label’s back catalogue and loads of classics from throughout the label’s history, picked by none other than head honcho Eddie Piller.
