Pianist and singer Reuben James joins Jamie for a chat and shares an exclusive first play of a track from his new EP.

Having appeared on the show earlier this year to perform live in session, Reuben James returns to the studio to discuss his upcoming debut solo release.

A regular performer at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Birmingham-born Reuben has played with trumpeter Abram Wilson and has also supported legendary saxophonist Wayne Shorter. He spent the last few years touring as a member of Sam Smith’s band before signing with Warner/Chappell Music as a solo artist last year.
