Three celebrities compete in the grand final, which features a Strictly twist and a challenge in the Natural History Museum.
Three celebrities battle it out to be crowned winner of Celebrity Painting Challenge 2019. Across the series the finalists have demonstrated their prowess with a paintbrush, now in the final task they’re asked to put into practise all they’ve learned from the judges and mentors as the heat is on to impress the judges one last time.
The competition sizzles as Strictly dancers Flavia and Vincent perform the Argentine tango and the finalists are asked to capture the sensuality and movement of the dance. Mentors Diana Ali and Pascal Anson are on hand to help, but the pressure of the final kicks in as the judges have to step in and intervene.
The celebrities' last and biggest challenge takes place at the magnificent Natural History Museum. They will be painting through the night and, for the first time in the competition, they can decide on their subject matter. With 80 million specimens on display, there are a lot to pick from, but with time ticking they need to make their choices and put paint to canvas before they return to the artists studio for the final time to complete their paintings.
Judges Daphne Todd OBE and Lachlan Goudie have the tough task of deciding the overall series winner, but not before some well-known faces reappear and are reunited with the finalists. All six of our celebrity artists must part with their favourite paintings, putting them up for sale in a charity auction, with family, friends and industry experts all invited along to raise money for good causes. After the buzz of the auction is over, it’s time for the judges to take to the stage to make a their big announcement.
