Reuben James Interview and Session

Jamie’s guest is pianist Reuben James, who performs live on the Elton John piano.

Jamie has the best in jazz and music inspired by jazz. This week, his guest is jazz pianist Reuben James, who joins Jamie for a chat and live performance.

Reuben has toured with jazz trumpeter Abram Wilson, the Clark Tracey Quintet, Jay Phelps and Jean Toussaint, and plays piano in Sam Smith’s band. He has supported the likes of Wayne Shorter and B.B. King, and joins Jamie to discuss his influences and upcoming solo debut release. He also performs his forthcoming new single live on the Elton John piano especially for the show.
