Jack Liebeck and Daniel Grimwood, String Quartet from MusicAeterna

Katie Derham presents a lively mix of conversation and arts news with live music from Jack Liebeck and Daniel Grimwood and a quartet made up of members from ensemble MusicAeterna.

Katie Derham presents a lively mix of conversation, arts news and live music. Jack Liebeck plays live with accompaniment from pianist Daniel Grimwood, both of whom will be performing as two thirds of Trio Dali at the Three Choirs Festival in Hereford tomorrow. We hear from Polish retro-punk band Hanba! when In Tune links up live with Lopa Kothari at the Womad world music festival. To cap off the show we meet members of Teodor Currentzis's revolutionary period-instrument orchestra MusicAeterna, who will be performing as a string quartet before joining the rest of MusicAeterna for a programme of Beethoven symphonies at the BBC Proms on Saturday the 28th July.
