Brian Hayles's epic drama stars Kenneth Haigh as Vlad Dracula, Nigel Stock as Father Benedek, John Rowe as Istvan, Hedli Niklaus as Ilonya, Don Henderson as Captain Ferenez, George Woolley as Dr Szentes and Liane Aukin as Militsa.

Other parts played by Patricia Greene, Betty Mallett, Graham Rigby and Philip Barber.
