As her dad nears the end of his life, Christie bears witness to the dignity, peace and love offered by his nurse, and she in turn receives the solace and comfort that lie at the heart of what it means to be nursed. Finally, we accompany Christie on her last day and we end up in the car park where a memorable patient awaits her.
