This week we are in the Concert Hall of French Radio in Paris. Emmanuel Krivine conducts the French National Orchestra in music by Richard Strauss and Franz Liszt.

This week we are in the Concert Hall of French Radio in Paris, for a concert given last November. Emmanuel Krivine conducts the French National Orchestra in Strauss's tone poem Also Sprach Zarathustra, and the first half of the concert is all Liszt. Jean-Yves Thibaudet is the soloist in Liszt's second piano concerto, and the concert begins with two pieces of late Liszt piano music arranged for orchestra by Heinz Holliger.
