With actress Allie Esiri, as part of National Poetry Day

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie: they are both here and they are not phoney!

Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie: they are both here and they are not phoney! They're glad to say it's National Poetry Day, and in the studio, chatting today... is Allie Esiri, for you to hear-y!

Allie Esiri is a former actress described by Tatler magazine as a 'poetry powerhouse' and an accomplished curator and host of live poetry events, working alongside guest readers such as Damian Lewis (best known for TV series Homeland) and Helen McCrory (acted in films like Harry Potter and The Queen). She's here to talk about her latest collection of poems - one for every day of the year.

Plus there's those everyday show features The Chain - YOU get to suggest the next track, connected any way you like to the one before it - and Tea Time Theme Time, the end-of-show tracks linked to one another BUT HOW? It's up to you to get in touch and guess the connection. There's also a daily gathering of Music News to pop into your audio vases, and a smattering of all the latest records gathered by Mark and Stuart too.
