The Don's selections cross time, space and genre, plus Crucial Vinyl is H.M.S. Fable by Shack from 1999.

The Don's selections cross time, space and genre. Each week, as well as blending his favourite new music with classics from the UK, USA, Jamaica, Africa and way beyond, he highlights a piece of Crucial Vinyl - a cherished album from his own collection. This week it's H.M.S. Fable, released by Shack in 1999.

Don says, "Released after a four year hiatus, as they'd actually split up after their second album, Liverpool's Shack came back with what is without doubt a classic of British pop. With Brian Wilson-style harmonies and a bunch of songs worthy of that other famous Liverpudlian four-piece, this record is a great listen.".
