Shaky shares his memories of getting started in the music business during the 1970s.

Shaky shares his memories of getting started in the music business during the 1970s.

At the start of the decade, he was playing with a band called The Sunsets who were never hugely successful in the UK, despite a cluster of hit singles in other countries. Shaky then starred in a West End musical called Elvis, which would then lead to the chart success he enjoyed in the 1980s.

Also on the show, Johnnie digs out some of the best of the BBC archive, and another listener helps to add a classic seven-inch single into Johnnie's Jukebox.
