This is the 16th studio album from the acclaimed Australian alternative rock act. Since their inception in 1983 from the ashes of The Birthday Party, the band have drawn on various genres from punk to goth rock, blues and no wave to create their unique sound. They have continued to develop and build on their success, indeed their last album, 2013's Push the Sky Away was their most successful to date. The new album is accompanied by a film One More Time With Feeling, which opens the day before the album is released. The new work is expected to be particularly poignant, as during the recording of the album and film, Cave's 15 year old son Arthur died in an accident.
