An elderly priest has been killed by two armed men who took a group of people hostage during mass in a Normandy church.

New figures from the Independent Police Complaints Commission show that many of those who die following contact with the police have existing mental health issues. We hear from the sister of a man with mental health issues who died in police custody, Dame Anne Owers of the IPPC, and the Mental Health Coordinator at the College of Policing.
Home Secretary Amber Rudd has launched an action plan to deal with how the police deal with victims of hate crime, which has increased since the EU referendum. We hear evidence of the increase, and speak to Conservative MP Daniel Kawczynsk, who was born in Poland, and campaigned for Brexit.
