Walking 184 miles with a grown-up child. The role of women in occupied France. A 42-year-old long-distance runner. How to behave when taking children to the doctor.

Guilt Trip is a new comedy on Radio 4 starring Felicity Montagu, star of Alan Partridge and her real-life daughter Olivia Nixon. The series explores the mother daughter relationship and how it can change because of divorce, bereavement and doing a 184 mile sponsored walk together which seemed like a good idea at the time.

What did it feel like to be a woman living in Paris from 1939 to 1949? How did it feel to come face-to-face with the German conquerors on a daily basis? In her new book Les Parisiennes, Anne Sebba tells how women made life and death decisions every day. Jenni talks to her alongside Arlette Testyler and Rosa Lipworth, both young children at the time, whose families went to great lengths to keep them safe.

Jo Pavey will be the first British track athlete to attend a fifth Olympics in Rio and she is also the oldest female European champion. Her book This Mum Runs, is out this week.

The Salon is a series from the BBC World Service which talks to women around the world whilst they're getting their hair done. Vibeke Venema and Charlotte Pritchard travelled to Tokyo.

How should we behave when we take our children to the doctor, and are we damaging our kids by talking to their doctor in front of them? Dr Radha Modgil thinks too many of us get this wrong.

Presenter: Jenni Murray.
