The last half hour features 'David Bowie and Friends' live at The Paris Theatre. It was recorded specially for BBC Radio's In Concert strand on 3 June 1971, presented by John Peel (a early champion of Bowie) and first broadcast on 20 June that year. Although not named as such at the time, the 'friends' included his iconic backing band, the Spiders from Mars (Mick Ronson, Woody Woodmansey, and Trevor Bolder) and this was the first time they'd performed together live.
