Magical Disney live-action version of the classic fairy tale, directed by Kenneth Branagh. Sweet, young Ella is suddenly the servant in her own home, put upon by her scheming stepmother and selfish stepsisters. A chance encounter with charming Kit, apparently an apprentice at the palace, makes Ella interested in going to a grand ball there, but her family refuse to let her attend.
