Sjögren’s syndrome affects half a million people in the UK, mainly women aged women aged 40–60, yet most of us have never heard of it. It’s a condition which mainly affects the glands that produce saliva and tears, causing an extremely dry mouth and eyes, alongside a range of other symptoms. So what is it, how difficult to diagnose and can it be treated?

She joins Jenni to Cook the Perfect Herb Omelette from her new book A Modern Way to Cook and to talk about why she thinks too many rules and fads around food can create unnecessary neuroses.
